I encourage students and parents to attend this showing.
I personally think this relates to many of our deaf and hard of hearing students. Once being self contained, now going to full inclusion. Even though there are many differences in the times, our students still feel a lot of the same feelings that those children felt. Being looked at as different, etc. FYI- This should be an excellent presentation. Mr. Kiel is a former Optional student and is serving on the Planning team for the Consolidation. Great Opportunity for you and a few of your strong parents/teachers to meet him and make him aware of your programs as well as to invite high school students to this documentary. Mr. Kiel is an exceptionally bright person who truly cares about Memphis City Schools. Subject: The Memphis 13 - Premiere Next Week!
