Remember that you are suppose to have a binder with dividers. You should keep everything that we have done thus far in the binder under the correct tab. If you don't know what your binder should say, please ask a neighbor in class.

He will grade your binder in a few weeks and will give you a bunch of grades for it. That is when he will check most of your work. So please keep up with everything now, because it will make it so much easier on you.

On the blog I will list homework for different groups. Most of the class is Group A. If I didn't tell you what group you are in then you are in group A.

There is a group A, group B, Group C

Tonight students have to annotate some quotes.
Groups A & B: have to pick 4 quotes to annotate. 
Group C: has to pick 2 quotes

Annotate:
Highlight or underline important words in the quote. Circle words you don't know. Then put the quote in your own words. All we ask is that you try.

For the map test. 

Group A will be tested on all 50 states and 50 capitals. Remember no word bank will be given. 

Group B will be tested on all 50 states. 

Group C will only be tested on 12 states.


 Map test is Thursday August 18th for all groups. 

Binder check is This FRIDAY. They need a binder and dividers.
