Biology Plus Notes- November 17, 2015

 

Bell Work- Grab a diagram off of the blue chair and label:

Active site, Products, Enzyme, and Substrate.

 

Coach P took up the diagrams after they labeled them. This will be a grade.

 

Yesterday’s information:

1. Only one enzyme works with each substrate

2. Enzymes do their jobs, but never go away.

3. Enzymes help reactions in living things (speed up).

4. Enzymes can easily be destroyed by high temperatures pH.

5. Enzymes either build-up or breakdown, not BOTH.

 

Students were given a packet on Enzymes. They were instructed to copy the 6 questions from the packet in their composition books. They were to read the information and then answer the questions.

 

They should all have the questions and answers to the questions written in the composition book.
