4-1-15 –Eng. 1 – Harris:

Yeah, the girls have their W.C. books!

Note:  Ms. Harris asked if I had checked the kids grades on Power School, and once I do to talk with her about what can be done to improve them

Do Now:  April 1, 2015 – W.C. Book pg. 633, Ex. 1 (1-5), then they did other exercises in class they dealt with correct pronoun usage.

1.     Lit. Book:  go to 1128.  We’ll do this together—we know this is an allusion –a reference to something famous—to Homer’s The Odyssey.

2.     We read and answered aloud questions to poems:  “The Ancient Gesture” and “The Siren’s Song.”

3.     Pg. 1132 – Note:  Prologue=important information at the beginning but an epilogue is at the end.

4.     Homework:  Revisit your English 1---
