- She’s checking composition books tomorrow.
- She’s reviewing the kids for a test today. To “restate” = to say it in your own words. She asking about vocabulary: oppression, pernicious, etc. (Test is Selection Test B, #1 – 19).
- Do Now: Act II: We know that Rosaline does not return Romeo’s affection I Act I. How do you think she’ll react if she’s replaced. Defind your answer based upon prior knowledge of teenage love.
- On board: Tomorrow: Do Now! Check for this= Nov. 4th = This is a Project Grade.
Please bring markers, crayons, color pencils, highlighters and color pens. Periods 1,2, & 4 only!
- Today’s Objective: analyze and interpret complex text – Romeo and Juliet
- Homework: Act II – Prep for Do Now! Check
- Note: Romeo and Juliet – online-modern text.
- Turn in test and Exercise 9, pg. 500 in your purple book.
- Use the rest of your time to work on your “Do Now” that is on the board (see #3 above).
- Pg. 828, lit. bk.
- They discussed the Do Now for today. Rosaline will be jealous. Will she want to come back into his life? Are her feelings valid? On pg. 828—before Act II. They are at a party. Romeo meets Juliet. Catch up: Read Act II. Get your Do Now in order.
