Here is your Homework:
1. Citizenship Quiz is due Friday January 9, 2015 (You must take the full quiz and make at least a 70) You must print our your certificate and turn it in on Friday.

2. Chapter 1 Vocabulary (You must do the entire chapter/all sections) Write these on another sheet of paper. These are due on test day.

3. Chapter 1 Guided Reading: This is also due on test day

4. Current Event articles: 3 Current Event Articles are due EVERY FRIDAY.

CURRENT EVENT GUIDELINES:

• Choose three recent (from the last two weeks) articles from the internet or newspaper
• You don't have to print the article

• For each article, you must write the:
• Title
• Date
• Cite Your Source 
• You can cite your source in full or just tell me where it is from:
• Example: From the Commercial Appeal, ABC News, Etc.
• Write one paragraph (5 sentences) for each article explaining what the article was about. 

• You can put all three summaries on the same page and turn it it.
• THIS SHOULD BE TYPED, unless you have talked to me. 
• If you do not have a printer at home and ride the bus after school, please talk to me and we will make accommodations.
