HIP Reading

Sorry I have been out sick.

Martavious, Jay and Dejon: I need you to get your reading packet and do the following...
1. Read the Story starting on page 5
2. Highlight all the words from the story that you don't understand or know the sign for.
3. Go to ASLPro.com or mobileASL and look up the signs for the words.
4. On a different sheet of paper, you need to write the word down that you did not understand and then write the gloss for it... how it was signed.
5. If you get finished with that, you can answer the questions to the story.

Bafford Government Current Event Articles

REMEMBER YOU HAVE 3 CURRENT EVENT ARTICLES DUE EVERY FRIDAY.

3rd Period: 3 articles and descriptions are due Tomorrow

6th Period: 3 Articles and descriptions are due on Tuesday January 21, 2014 and three more are due Friday January 24, 2014

So like I said... you have three current event articles due every FRIDAY. 


CURRENT EVENT GUIDELINES:

  • Choose three recent (from the last two weeks) articles from the internet or newspaper
    • You don't have to print the article
  • For each article, you must write the:
    • Title
    • Date
    • Cite Your Source 
      • You can cite your source in full or just tell me where it is from:
        • Example: From the Commercial Appeal, ABC News, Etc.
    • Write one paragraph (5 sentences) for each article explaining what the article was about. 

  • You can put all three summaries on the same page and turn it it.
  • THIS SHOULD BE TYPED, unless you have talked to me. 
    • If you do not have a printer at home and ride the bus after school, please talk to me and we will make accommodations.
