2-3-15 Harris – Eng. 1

1.       Do Now:  W.C. pg. 556, Ex. 24, (1-15).

2.       On Board:  Critical Thinking:  Read and answer questions pgs. 444 -     452.  Lit Book – “A Celebration of Grandfather’s…”  PERSUASIVE HANDOUT – DUE!!!

3.       In class we took turns and reviewed which sentences were correct and which were run-ons, then class was told to do Ex. 25, 1-5.

4.       On board:  The first runner nears the finish line she is ahead of all the other racers.

5.       Persuasive handout- Work on this.  Be sure you understand it so you can complete it.

Note Learning Lab teachers:  Please work with this Persuasive handout.  The topic has to be a local or national issue (as it says).  J needs to re-do hers; she doesn't seem to understand what a persuasive topic is all about.
