Deaf NEWS this week


April 10
Meet with a representative from Project Endeavor at DeafConnect

Project  Endeavor offers a broad range of

They are sold at reduced prices to ensure qualified deaf and hard of hearing people have affordable access to broadband.

Who qualifies:
·         Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals w/ a hearing loss (40 db or greater) in both ears
·         U.S. citizen
·         16 years of age or older
·         A VR client or be income eligible

June 15 & 16: Added Deaf Drama Reunion Form.  “Any Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals who attended WSHS are invited to attend the reunion scheduled for June 15 & 16.  There will be a performance that Saturday night (7:15 PM in the WSHS auditorium, $10 adults and $5 for under 12 years) which is open to everyone.

Umoja Tickets!
I will have Umoja tickets on me this Friday and Saturday (Silent Dinner and at the Library).  This will be the last time you can purchase them from me ($10).  After that, you will have to purchase them from the church.  I’m not sure when the price will go up to $15.

So far we have 15 people coming from the Deaf community.  We would love for you to join us.
