DEAF NEWS for MEMPHIS

I enjoyed the workshop at DeafConnect last Saturday.  Members of the deaf community invested in our (interpreters) professional lives to help us become better interpreters.  We looked at recorded vignettes and then had the opportunity to query deaf participants in person!
This from DeafConnect:
"A big thank you to Mr. Bomprezzi, Mr. Cox, Ms Hernandez-Morales, Ms Chappell, and Ms Faulkner for raising the receptive skill level of our interpreters at [Saturday's]workshop! We appreciate and thank you for your participation. You have not only helped make better interpreters, but you have helped our community to "DeafConnect" on a whole new level. Thank you all!
