KNOW: The Parts of the constitution:
·      Preamble
·      7 articles
·      27 amendments

The First three articles: Created the branches of government

What are the Bill of Rights? The first ten amendments

What is the fourth article? The full faith and credit clause
Example: California must recognize other documents or licenses from other states.

KNOW: The five ways to change the constitution:
·      Executive Action
·      Court Decisions
·      Party Practices
·      Custom and Usage
·      Basic Legislation

Executive agreement: is when our president makes an agreement with presidents or leaders from other countries

A Treaty is an agreement and must have the consent of the senate

Electoral College: The formal election process of the president and the vice president

Cabinet: The job of the cabinet is to inform or advise the president

The 22nd amendment: Limited the term of office for the president

Who has been the president the longest? Franklin D. Roosevelt.
For how long? He died in the fourth term second year (14 years)
